Well, where do I start? I joined The Marxmen about 6 years ago, mainly just to play music with a group of friendly people.
My first instrument was the Clarinet but I very soon took up the Tenor saxophone which is my main instrument and I love it.
I was soon very hooked and began to play more, both in Competitions and Carnivals. I became a Senior Member and was then voted Band Rep by my peers. This was followed by being made an Instructor about 2 and a half years ago.
I continue to enjoy band and the friends I have made are the best friends I have.
Alongside the music we have fun playing games after practice, BBQ's and day trips out to theme parks. Some of us get together in the school holidays or weekends and go out for the day as small groups, which cements our friendship
